AT VALLEY SLEEP AND TMJ, WE TREAT SLEEP APNEA, SNORING, LOCK JAW, CLICKING, HEADACHES, AND MORE.
Our priority is to deliver quality care to informed patients in a comfortable and convenient setting. Dr. Jodi believes that informed patients are better prepared to make decisions regarding their health and well-being.
Snoring? Well, while you might think snoring isn’t something to be concerned about, you might want to think again. Frequent, loud snoring may be a sign of sleep apnea, which is a common and potentially serious disorder in which breathing stops and starts as you sleep.
If you or a loved one suffers TMJ pain, we know it can be frustrating. Many of our patients have been to several different practitioners with limited or temporary results. At Valley Sleep and TMJ at Sceville Dental Group, we can help.
All of our patients spend an hour with Dr. Sceville diagnosing their conditions and needs. Additional information may be requested from former doctors to help create a complete picture.
Once Dr. Sceville understands your exact needs, a unique treatment plan will be presented. Our plans are clear, with specific treatment goals and objectives.
After treatment, Dr. Seville will follow up with you on a regular basis to make sure you're progressing towards and maintaining a higher quality of life.
With every visit we take a look at your blood oxygen levels, resting heart rate, and other key indicators.
Whether we need to look at the jaw joint, the airway, or a specific tooth, we have the capability.
If you believe your jaw is locked (limited opening) we have a simple procedure to get you opening again.
If you believe you have sleep apnea but aren't quite sure, we can send you home with a small device to find out for sure.
Sometimes physical therapy such as at home stretching exercises are needed to get your jaw back to normal.
The jaw is complicated, and sometimes needs a custom splint or orthotic to help in the healing process.
